Thank you very much for the superb upkeep of this historic and cherished cemetery which holds so many of our ancestors and so much of our heritage. I should’ve contributed while there, but was wondering the best way to contribute remotely as I don’t live nearby.
One thing if it could be taken care of would be immensely appreciated by me. My ancestor Samuel Cash and his wife Eugenia are in section C. Somehow the footstone for Eugenia was no longer in the ground, but was still there lying on the ground. We attempted to re-set it but only had a hand shovel, so it was not ideal, although we did manage to sink it a few inches. If you could get someone to set that properly, it would be much appreciated and ease my mind that this ancestor was properly undisturbed.
Thanks again, and let me know if I can provide further information. These are my great great grandparents, and they had a lot of kids, so many descendants are undoubtedly still around there somewhere. And please don’t forget to tell me the best way to contribute remotely.
Thanks again,
Bill Haynes
